Yeah…well, this scene just made no sense to me.

1x18 - Something Wicked

Seeing young Sam and Dean was a big fan-girl moment for me because I just love their flashbacks. This scene was the one of the best flashbacks and it just makes me smile and go “aslkf awhh asdf” inside. I honestly think Dean is one of the best older brothers someone could ever ask for. Even at a young age like that, he was already sacrificing what he liked so Sam could be happy. Sam, in return, remembers to thank his brother by offering him to have the toy in the cereal box.

2x21 - All Hell Breaks Loose Pt. 1 - Dean trying to talk through Sam’s death

“Hey, hey… come here, come here, let me look at ya. [checks the wound on Sam’s back] Oh, hey look, it’s not even that bad… It’s not even that bad, alright? Sammy, Sam! Hey, listen to me, we are going to patch you up okay… You’ll be as good as new. Huh? I’m going to take care of you, I’m going to take care of you! I gotcha. It’s my job, right, watch after my pain-in-the-ass little brother… ”

╬ SUPERNATURAL 30 DAY CHALLENGE ► DAY 12 - FAVORITE FUNNY SCENE

5x08 - Changing Channel - Sam and his Herpexia commercial

This had to be the funniest scene in the show. I just about died when Sam was forced to say “I have genital herpes…” It just sounds ridiculous coming from Sam because Sam’s the usual good/innocent one of the two brothers. Dean also sounded like he was enjoying it when he told Sam just to say what he had to say. It was an overall funny scene between the two brothers and for the fandom.

╬ SUPERNATURAL 30 DAY CHALLENGE ► DAY 11 - YOUR FAVORITE SAM DEATH SCENE

2x21 - All Hell Breaks Loose Pt .1 

I can watch this scene every time and cry every single time. I remembered the first time I watched this and I sat there in total shock because I never thought they would actually kill off Sam. (This was when I was still innocent to the fact that any main character of Supernatural never really dies off). This scene was just so heartbreaking because all I could really think was “What is Dean going to do without Sam?” I mean, Dean’s purpose of life was to take care of Sammy and if he failed that, then what then? 

╬ SUPERNATURAL 30 DAY CHALLENGE ► DAY 10 - YOUR FAVORITE DEAN DEATH SCENE

3x11 - Mystery Spot

I suppose this is more of deaths instead of just a death as Dean dies multiple times in this scene. I know most deaths in Supernatural are tragic and painful for the fandom but I found this episode portrayed Dean’s deaths in a humorous way because none of them were real. At first, I had the same reaction as Sam, which was horrified at how they wanted Dean to die: getting ran over by a car. But soon enough, I started to find his string of death occurrences funny and I couldn’t help thinking about Sam’s thoughts. It was no longer “OMG. My brother just died in front of me” but more like “Ugh, not again….”

╬ SUPERNATURAL 30 DAY CHALLENGE ► DAY 9 - YOUR FAVORITE QUOTE

“If you hurt my brother, I’ll kill you I swear! I’ll kill you all.” (1x15)

There are so many quotes I love from Dean. He has some of the best lines in Supernatural, along with Castiel. But I chose this quote despite the violent tone because I feel like this quote sums up Dean as a brother very well. This is the essence of Dean when it comes to Sam throughout the entire show. 

╬ SUPERNATURAL 30 DAY CHALLENGE ► DAY 8 - YOUR FAVORITE SAM CRYING SCENE

5x13 - The Song Remains the Same 

I usually cry whenever Dean does but this scene with Sam actually got me to tear-up too. When Sam explains to the younger version of his father that he finally understands why his father did what he did, I felt like he was showing how much his father’s death changed him. Neither brother ever spoke much of how they felt about their father’s death but here, even though John doesn’t know Sam’s his son, I think Sam was giving the best apology he could.

2x22 - All Hell Breaks Loose Part 2

I would say this was my favorite scene of Dean crying because of the conversation he had with his dead brother. All the reminiscence of when he and Sam were younger just really showed how Dean was protecting Sam his entire life. He thought that was his one job to do: to take care of Sammy. I don’t think Dean has ever felt worse in his life because he kept on saying that he failed at the one job he was given.
